Strawberry Kiwi Sorbet-Sundae

Happily sweet strawberries meet excitingly airy-tart kiwi berries… and it all makes you smile. (Especially with the smoky sesame paste and chopped walnuts for a rich sundae experience!)


  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened nut milk of choice (I used cashew), plus additional water if needed
  • 1/4 cup sliced kiwi berries or peeled kiwi slices
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame paste

Special equipment: high speed blender

Prep time: 5 minutes
Yields: 1-2 servings


  1. Blend together frozen strawberries and nut milk until creamy and smooth, adding additional water by the tablespoon if needed for consistency.
  2. Remove sorbet from blender and place in 1-2 bowls.
  3. Spoon black sesame paste over each bowl. Top with kiwi berries or kiwi slices, and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Enjoy!

Yasmine’s notes:

For a lighter sorbet-only experience to this dessert versus sundae, replace the nut milk with water, and omit the black sesame paste and walnuts. You’ll get all of the happy fruit in their fresh, zesty forms as a tangy summer treat! (But equally, if you want a super decadent sundae treat to celebrate things for yourself, you can always leave it as is. 😉 )
