Golden Blue Spiced Seed and Nut Cereal

Warm and cool combine between the sunny bursts of the golden berries and spices, and the mild, fresh waves of blueberries and rosemary! All while the raisins mediate with a touch of deep, fiery-earthy sweetness, and the walnuts and pumpkin seeds steady you with energy for the day.


  • 1/8 cup golden berries, sliced into quarters
  • 1/8 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup nut milk (I chose walnut here)
  • 2 Tbsp walnut pieces
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds/pepitas
  • 1 Tbsp dark raisins
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Dash of cardamom
  • Dash of dried rosemary

Prep time: 5 minutes
Yields: 1 serving

Preparation: Combine all ingredients together in a small rice-bowl and eat!

Yasmine’s Notes:
Like all my spiced seed and nut cereals, this one is designed to be quick and easy to prepare for an anytime snack or breakfast— particularly on warmer days when you don’t need as many hot meals. And equally where it comes to nuts and seeds versus grains and other starches, I find you do not need a large amount of this cereal to be full. If fresh golden berries are not available near you, you can substitute with 1-2 Tbsp of dried golden berries.
